3. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including maintenance reminders and task notifications;
  • Create and manage accounts and Enterprise Organizations, including role-based access controls;
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions;
  • Communicate with you about your account, updates, and support requests;

5. How We Share Information

5.1 Within an Enterprise Organization

If you use the Service as part of an Enterprise Organization, administrators of that organization can access vehicle, maintenance, task, and related data associated with the organization's fleet, and may be able to view certain account information of users within the organization.

5.2 Service Providers

We share information with vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as cloud hosting, payment processing, email delivery, analytics, and customer support tooling. These providers are contractually restricted to using information only to provide services to us.

5.3 Legal and Safety

We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of MotorStable LLC, our users, or the public.

5.4 Business Transfers

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any change in ownership or use of your information.

5.5 No Sale of Personal Information

We do not sell your personal information to third parties for monetary consideration. To the extent applicable state law treats certain data-sharing arrangements (e.g., some advertising or analytics integrations) as a “sale” or “share,” see Section 9 for your rights.

6. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When an Enterprise Organization cancels its subscription, we retain Customer Data for a limited period to allow for export or reactivation, after which it is deleted or anonymized in accordance with our data retention schedule.

7. Data Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction, including encryption in transit, access controls, and routine security review. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, session persistence, preferences, and analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling certain cookies may affect Service functionality.

9. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Enterprise users should generally direct these requests to their organization administrator, as the organization controls that data; individual (Personal mode) users may contact us directly at privacy@motorstable.com.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us at privacy@motorstable.com so we can delete it.

11. International Data Transfers

We may process and store information in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for cross-border transfers of personal data.

12. Third-Party Services and Links

The Service may link to or integrate with third-party services (such as identity providers for single sign-on). This Policy does not apply to third-party services, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies separately.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice (such as an in-app notice or email) before the changes take effect. The “Effective Date” above reflects the latest revision.
