About
Built because the folder always goes missing.
MotorStable started as a personal problem: several cars, a decade of receipts, and no way to hand any of it to a buyer in one piece.
Every enthusiast has the same drawer. Invoices from a shop that has since closed. A tyre receipt that proves nothing on its own but everything in sequence. An inspection certificate that turned up two weeks after it was needed.
The work gets done properly. It is the record that rots. And the record is the part that is worth money, because it is the only thing standing between “well maintained” and proof.
So MotorStable is not trying to be a fleet suite with a consumer tier bolted on, and it is not a fuel-log app with ambitions. It is a place to keep the documentation of vehicles that deserve documenting, whether that is three cars in a garage or forty vans on a yard.
The test we hold it to: when the car changes hands, can you hand over its entire life in one document?

Where things actually stand
Pre-launch, and saying so.
The application is built and working. Garage, vehicles, VIN decode, registration records, maintenance records with documents, printable reports, organizations, roles. It is not yet deployed for public signup.
There are no customers to show you, no logos to put in a row, and no case studies. Anything you see on this site that looks like social proof would be invented, so there isn’t any.
What there is instead: a changelog, an honest features page, and a security page that lists what hasn’t been built.
